Writing narrative term 4

The day Hornby played in the semifinals

On Saturday there was a big rugby match that can lead to the finals or lead to disappointment for their club the game is at 9 :45 an early game but they are ready to play everyone starts to arrive at Hornby Denton park. Hornby is already training to prepare for the big game coming up soon.

The opponent come in a big group looking like they will win easy but I'm pretty sure they might be wrong Hornby has got a big team and only lost one game.

The team starts to get ready and train Hornby huddling up in a big group talking loudly saying WILL WE WIN THIS then starts to run to the changing sheds then the opposite team runs as well and they start to talk while running the hop in their shed and talk.

Hornby is yelling their lungs off then the whistle is blown time to get on the feiid and play like champions Hornby runs in a straight line walking out to the grass then running and side stepping doing their thing before the huddle up now the other team runs onto the field they huddle up.

Hornby is needling down for a pray they are saying dear lord thank you for this opportunity for this game and playing with the brothers thank you for this club and please let us win amen.

They  get ready for the game the other team is ready to kick off as well the wissle is blown and they are under way Hornby picks the ball up they u n and gets tackled Sam picks the ball up and passes it down the line and Isaac the winger gets it and pass it Damien runs and scores the first
The Hornby name team is Hornby family and our team is the strongest family there is in the entire rugby clubs the try is awarded we all go clap his hand and say good job now here comes the kick he lines the tee up places the ball on top waits a couple of seconds.

Boom they  kick it and it is over it's a converted try its 7 points to 0 they run back to the half way mark and kicks it high Hornby catches it they run a tackled is made and two minutes later another try everyone says good job and another kick and it's over it's 14 to 0 60 minuets later the game ends the other team is embarrassed of how the score turned out it was 69 to 14 Hornby are in the finals....

Everyone is excited that they one we do the hip Ray four times then line up and shake hands and then run back to the changing rooms and have a talk he says good job boys we are proud even if you lose you made us pride and attest you came 2nd but we can win this see you guys on Tuesday to train like never before.

Festival of the arts

Lo: To draw whakaahua for kowhatu toi.

For festival of the arts I'm doing Kowhatu Toi and we are making stones and paint a Maori design on it.

Koru - the Koru is  a fern plant that  means peace and life to you, strength, and  represents a new life.

For kowhatu toi we have to get three rocks and paint it white before drawing on the rocks.

Paint the rocks about three times a coat and do on the other side make sure you paint the           holes  that you can see.

I have learned what Koru,Niho taniwha, mangopare,Ritorito,Raperape,Manawa and Puhoro means and what they do.

Here is a picture of the koru drawing that i did

Making paint with glue

2 Get some flour
3 Sugar
Pour into bowls
